Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this estate was a mix of experiences. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, yet a bit more upscale touch would have been nice considering the De Vere Estate setting. It was inconvenient to have to book access to the pool, and the shower was not as clean as expected.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms weren't perfect - right in front of the main entrance, so I felt uneasy opening the curtains, and they weren't ready until late afternoon. They could definitely use a makeover and a thorough cleaning. On the bright side, the service was friendly, with a few language hiccups but very accommodating. The location, although not ideal for seeing old buildings, was still picturesque in the Surrey Hills. The dining experience had its ups and downs - overcrowded and not the best service, yet a wide array of food choices and exceptional quality. Overall, it was an average experience.
The hotel had comfortable but basic rooms with small size and required an upgrade for better features. The service was accommodating but some cleaning aspects need attention. The location was set in beautiful parkland but had maintenance staff passing through guest areas. The dining experience was enjoyable but a bit costly. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
